At TDEAZ, we blend our knowledge of storytelling, dance, and filmmaking to produce cinedances for those who wish to take the leap from performing onstage to performing on the silver screen.
The value of producing a cinedance with TDEAZ is in the experience as much as it is in the final digital film. We will guide you through the development process by first learning about your dance and choreography, followed by a day of principal photography on location (complete with a hair and make-up artist) and finally delivering a custom edited final digital film to you, with the option of attending our annual premiere event at Harkins Theaters.
Principal photography is meticulously planned beforehand with a storyboard and shot list to guide the professional motion picture crew. When production wraps, the post-production team takes over, editing the dance with transitions, effects, color grading, and titles.
WHY WORK WITH US?
Our development process is designed around you and what type of production you want. Will it be a dreamy on location shoot among nature with lots of slow-motion shots and shallow depth-of-field, or will you choose a high-energy on location shoot with colored LED lights, haze, and silhouetted shots? Or maybe you want something in between! The possibilities are (almost) endless.
Each year TDEAZ holds a red carpet premiere event at Harkins Theaters. If you choose to include your cinedance (some restrictions apply,) for the price of a movie ticket your friends and family can munch on popcorn, walk the red carpet with you, and see your cinedance on the silver screen. And, of course, you are delivered a digital version optimized with appropriate aspect ratios for sharing on different social media platforms.
